In its 35 amazing years, the Triple-R (formerly known as RRR—see what we did there?) has developed a unique character and culture all its own.

This year, on Sunday October 4th , riders can take on the iconic Triple-R

Kicking Off at Mt. Molloy – The Adventure Begins!
Get ready to ride the legendary Triple R course in either the 40km classic course or test yourself on the 70km long course

Both Courses have all the classics you know and love:

Long Course includes the newly re-opened
✅ 16km Twin Bridges section

So, What’s New in 2026?

This year, your total race time will come from two timed stages and the

✅ Classic Course: 32 km from Mt. Molloy to the Craiglie underpass
✅ Classic Course: 5 km of 4 Mile Beach to the finish

✅ Long Course: 62 km from Mt. Molloy to the Craiglie underpass
✅ Long Course: 5 km of 4 Mile Beach to the finish

The 3km Port Douglas footpath section will be neutralized Targa-style — no racing here. Stick to the set time !

That means tactics matter. Go hard when it counts, recover when you can.

Course Information

Choose Your Challenge

  • 40km Classic RRR: The quintessential Triple R experience. A fast-paced journey starting with wide-open rural gravel and fire trails before diving into the lush, technical rainforest canopy of Mowbray National Park and the legendary Bump Track.

  • 70km Epic RRR: For the endurance rider. This course covers the full 40km Classic route but adds the rugged Black Mountain road and Twin Bridges Track - a technical, undulating loop featuring extra climbing, creek crossings, and remote hinterland trails.

  • START LINE: Vains Oval, Mt Molloy

  • FINISH LINE: 4 Mile Beach, Port Douglas
