In its 35 amazing years, the Triple-R (formerly known as RRR—see what we did there?) has developed a unique character and culture all its own.

We’ve listened to our riders and are bringing the Triple-R back to its core mountain biking roots: more social, more fun! Whether you want to push your limits for the podium or enjoy a great day out on the trails with mates, we have a registration class for you.

40km Classic RRR
The Experience: The quintessential Triple-R journey.
The Terrain: A fast-paced start featuring wide-open rural gravel and fire trails before diving into the lush, technical rainforest canopy of Mowbray National Park and the legendary Bump Track.
70km Epic RRR
The Experience: Built for the true endurance rider.
The Terrain: This course covers the full 40km Classic route but adds the rugged Black Mountain Road and Twin Bridges Track—a technical, undulating loop featuring extra climbing, creek crossings, and remote hinterland trails.

Both the 40km and 70km courses are open to two distinct styles of riders. Pick the one that fits your goals:
⚡ Option 1: The Race Class
For the podiums, the prize money, and the glory. If you want to test yourself against the clock and the competition, this is for you.
Requirement: Riders must hold a valid AusCycling Race License or purchase a $44 Day License.

🥳 Option 2: The Social Class
For the personal challenge, the fun times, and the mateship. If racing isn't your thing, no worries! Sign up to enjoy the incredible trails, soak up the atmosphere, and make new friends along the way.
Requirement:NO race license needed! However, you are still covered by event insurance if something happens to go wrong.

So, What’s New in 2026?
This year, your total race time will come from two timed stages and the
✅ Classic Course: 32 km from Mt. Molloy to the Craiglie underpass
✅ Classic Course: 5 km of 4 Mile Beach to the finish
✅ Long Course: 62 km from Mt. Molloy to the Craiglie underpass
✅ Long Course: 5 km of 4 Mile Beach to the finish
The 3km Port Douglas footpath section will be neutralized Targa-style — no racing here. Stick to the set time !
That means tactics matter. Go hard when it counts, recover when you can.
