Dear JOHN CHORLTON,

Phew! That was close...

Without urgent action by IMBA and our partners last month, funding for 15,000 trails in all 50 states would have disappeared. And this funding is still at risk.

Without IMBA fighting for funding, every state would loose millions of dollars for trails — dollars that help maintain your favorite trails and create new access.

This is why it is vital that you help protect the places we ride. Please make your donation to the Trail Access Fund now.

Please send what you can — $20, $35, $100, even your $10 donation helps save a trail.

As a thank you, I’ll send you a free gift — like our limited-edition Long Live Long Rides socks.

Your tax-deductible donation directly supports our advocates who are working hard all over the country for you and your sport:

  • Opening, building and maintaining trails for mountain bikes at 40 National Parks
  • Developing 50 urban bike parks in cities and towns across America
  • Working with the U.S. Forest Service to manage and expand the 200,000 miles of trails open to bikes
  • Providing guidance and leadership training for mountain bike advocates and land managers at state and local parks

We’re lobbying for a rule change with the National Park Service to allow mountain bikes in places where riding is appropriate.

We’re building long-awaited trails at national parks in Big Bend, TX; New River Gorge National River, WV; and we earned bike access at parks in Saguro AZ; Chattahoochee-Oconee, GA; and Mammoth Cave, KY.

We've gained the support of California State Parks to open trails to mountain bikers in the Mt. Tamalpais watershed lands — including some of the sacred trails where our sport began.

Access to your favorite trail is not guaranteed. If you want to continue enjoying the trails you love, support the advocates that protect your right to ride them now. Please give today and ask your friends too — help us spread the word.

Thank you in advance for making a difference — enjoy your next great spring ride,

JennDiceLR
