Let It Rip! - Crank CollectiveTalk about this featured announcement here. Go to this featured announcement 9:40am - 09/03 - Cakes - After hearing from JC and a couple of his friends, it sounds like a road trip to Telluride for some FREE lift accessed riding is in order. I mean, c'mon, its free and its sick! And Telluride is a cool town, to boot. 7:00pm - 09/01 - JC - The damage was really mostly mental, but sometimes that's the worst kind. I thought the trails were awesome and yeah, like you mentioned its free. How sick is that? I personally thought the DH stuff was ok, fun but nothing special, few jumps, some berms, eh compared to CB. But the XC stuff off the gondola is so freaking fun, easy climbs, mostly pedally traversing, and uber fast killing it downhills, short or long. 8:32pm - 08/31 - ridinfool - JC, I take it you stacked? How bad was the damage?
And by the way, how were the trails in Telluride ? I 've their is some pretty good stuff now, and since the ride up is free, I might have to go check it out. 8:05pm - 08/30 - JC - As many of you have stated, I am also really feeling the DH thing right now. Progression is just too much fun and keeps you wanting more. However, I just found out what happens in lieu of progression sometimes in Telluride on their DH terrain. Ha, somehow while getting better I forgot that was possible, oh yeah now I remember! |

Denver Bicycle Film Festival - whiteguyfroSeptember 9-11 is the Denver Bicycle Film Festival. If you're in the Front range it's well worth a visit. I attended the Boston show the last couple years and it was always good, with some really interesting films.

http://www.bicyclefilmfestival.com/denver

3:07pm - 08/30 - Cakes - First film is The Birth of Big Air with a shot of Mat Hoffman. C'mon America - lets get some World Cup plaers rolling! 8:12am - 08/30 - crank collective - Mountain Bike Action just posted this article about the 1990 Worlds. It just doesn't seem that long ago to me - does that mean I am old or the sport is really this young? 6:43pm - 08/29 - crank collective - Gee Atherton, Nino Schurter sew up the WC Overalls in DH and XC, respectively. singletrack.com has some good interviews and footie from the XC, and Vital MTB has the goods on the DH and 4x - plus some great video and photo albums. 1:04pm - 08/27 - Cakes - Tracey Mosley and Steve Peat with the fastest qualifiers in DH. |
