Just saw this Tweet from USA Cycling "Quiznos Pro Challenge host cities include Vail, Aspen, Golden, Denver, Crested Butte, Avon, Breckenridge, Steamboat and Colorado Springs!"

I'm stoked.
Stage 1 starts in Salida and finishes in Mt. CB, the next day is Gunny to Aspen via Cottonwood and Independence Passes. So cool.

I wonder how they'll manage Cottonwood - it is dirt. And its pretty well-used and washboarded in the summer, too. Should be sick, though.

Is it really going over Cottonwood? Damn, I'm shocked I guessed it was going Black Canyon to McLure. Cottonwood will be soooooo cool, and Independence is a massive climb.
