Saw the cameras in Crested Butte this morning. Looks like winter is making another crack at owning the landscape. Big storm blowing through Sedona right now. Dark skies, rain, thunder, lightning...Reminds me I have no idea what to expect come the winter months.

just rode upper loop here, but it was quite muddy and everything else is looking like, well, the fat lady might be singing, could just be the wind chill though. Hartmans baby!

There was snow on the peaks just above town yesterday. Rain in the valley bottom. Bet the singletrack is super-tacky. Better get out there for some sampling!

Don't count Crested Butte out yet. People are riding Hartmans, Fruita, Salida, Sidewinder (Montrose), right and left. Looks like the Upper Loop is making a strong push to reopen this week too!!!

Looks like poop weather for the weekend here, dammit. Just when the pump track is getting dialed in. Might mean snow for the highlanders, though!

Gunny got a little more snow than I had hoped. There is now more snow than dirt on the trails at Hartman Rocks. However, there were still riders out there making tracks. I found myself searching for freshies.

Today was the crapiest day of the week and I was still comfortable riding in shorts. It ain't a powder day, but its alright by me.

Good to hear. I justr spent the last week in Aspen and got a few runs in - very fun. Back in AZ and it is shorts and, maybe, a long sleeve weather. Riding tomorrow!
