I just got a new sixsixone recon helmet, my old one was cheap and loose. I spent 85$ on the new lid 100$ retail I guess. The shop I go to they know me and like me I guess, so the gave me a 15% discount, sweet!. I took the advise I got in another review of a "gyro Xar" I think, they recomended trying on a few. I tried a "fox" which was a little tight across my forhead and a "bell" which I thought was laking padding inside which made it uncomfortable, (I know it's not gonna feel good when I crash but I don't want it to hurt all the time). The sixsixone recon fit my head perfect so thats the one I got. I think I get a good amount of air flow but lets face it I'm in the desert it's gonna get hot in my helmet. I like the way it seems to hold my head it doesn't move around but it's not pushing in any one spot to much all around perfect helmet for my head. Lesson I have learned here shop around and find what workes best for you no matter what it i ;Ds gloves pads bikes helmets, what works for me may not for you but go with what feels good with good rateing and you should do pretty well. I think this helmet will keep me speaking full sentences, writing on the other hand may need a teacher to fix that lol. Thanks CC your a great group of guy's hope to meet a couple of you along the open trails.
