American Aaron Gwinn just won his fourth (out of Five) World Cup DH races - this one in Windham, NY. The first 'Merican to win on U.S. soil since Shaun Palmer in 1999. W00t W00t!

incredible. I know this guy has been around for a bit, but its like he came out of nowhere to dominate the World Cup DH scene. awesome to see a rider improve so dramatically.

Gwinn just got third in France and secured the World Cup overall even though there is still another event to go. So stoked. First American to win the World Cup overall, I do believe. Badass.

With this sick road race going on right now, it was easy to overlook, but needs to stand out because of how monumental this achievement is !!!

One more race this season for the UCI World Cup - this one for the World Champion title (different than the overall). No pressure, Aaron. So stoked on this dude. And he seems real mellow - especially compared to Palmer, who I am also stoked on.

One is a one day event, The World Championships, and the other is a cumulative collection of points based on World Cup events. It is a strange division.

Val Di Sole was his 5th win out of 7 World Cup DHs this year. The dude is absolutely ruling. To go that fast, consistently, amazing.
