best 8" day the butte has seen in forever today, almost forgot about mountain biking for a little while there!

Don't count Crested Butte out yet. People are riding Hartmans, Fruita, Salida, Sidewinder (Montrose), right and left. Looks like the Upper Loop is making a strong push to reopen this week too!!!

just rode upper loop here, but it was quite muddy and everything else is looking like, well, the fat lady might be singing, could just be the wind chill though. Hartmans baby!

no way, just rode upper loop it was perfect and fun. Next week looks perfect too, 401 might be done, but it's a long way from over......I hope! how about in Sedona, just about to get good huh? Bunch of Western kids came into the shop today to get boards and skis mounted for Wolf Creek and Baldy. I looked at all of them and smiled and just said, you guys ever heard of Hartmans?

Well this gives you a little info, a lot of amazing perspective, and doesn't show one person struggling, which makes me wonder. Am I and my friends just total wusses or what? Great video whether you have done it or not!

sounds pretty all time to me, that place is tough. Beauty and burly meet together, and you usually feel the effects of both.

Just saw Brian Smith finish in what I believe I heard was 7:50, then again that seems unbelievable. Looked pretty good for a guy finishing before many went out on their 3rd lap. Lot of locals killing it though with very respectable times.

this video is mandatory viewing in association with the winning run from Danny Hart to help put it all into some insane context that I will never understand but am in awe of.
