Those cats are hard core. Saw some up in Fairbanks on the snowmobile trails. I guess the fat tires could do some damage to a freshly groomed xc trail. We are still buried deep up here. I am getting a bit excited about daylight savings time ending.

7 degrees and another foot of snow coming down. Gonna be a while...for me anyhow. Folks have been out all winter, though. I actually read some negative feedback about fat-tire riders chewing up some of the hillside ski routes. Some goos stuff though: shot (someone else's) from the Susitna

I for one think it is totally badass that our governor was out riding his bike with friends at 6 in the morning. I bet the front range is softening up for some good singletrack!

That guys is so psyched. He has the Moots so he will always have the fastest bike, and he got it years ago so the pain of payment is gone. Then he has a 7" nasty freeride bike. Now he will have a do anything everywhere light but burly killing machine. Not jealous at all.
